Hawkwind - Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music "Thrilling Stories Of Science And Fantasy!" -
The first ever cd I bought; and in my opinion how all cds should have been made - less than an hour long, on one disc and without any bonus tracks tacked onto the end. It does what it says on the tin.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here - on cd.

FRANK ZAPPA - Them Or Us - on cd, sounding lovely and middle of the road.

It's funny - a thread about what you are listening to and why, and people say what they are listening to and in what format (CD, vinyl, FLAC, WAV etc). Why does it matter? Is Hifi more important than music, even in the Music Room?
I'm listening to Sonny Rollins's Road Shows Volume 2. I'm listening to it because I enjoyed Volume 3, so bought Volume 2.
And to satisfy the nerds, it's a FLAC file, ripped from a CD by my UnitiServe, transcoded to WAV for playback.
