Recently bought a few albums from Within Temptation a band new (to me) while trying to find a band that comes close to the sound of We are The Fallen. This is my favourite from them so far but not up to either We are The Fallen or their predecessors Evanescence. Nevertheless it is very enjoyable.

Agree. The what? And why? Is the interest.

I wish people would say a few words about why.  That's part of the title.  As I write this George Michael is on.  I could post that, but who cares?  If I actively wanted to listen to this because I have always loved this song, then that might be interesting and I should say so

There is a huge number of great value box sets out there at the moment. This one may not be the experts first choice, but it has a lot of both the familiar and unfamiliar to me - and it should keep me going for a while: 39 Cd's for ~£50.

Stating the format provides complete information, and may prompt others to make inquiries regarding the virtues or availability of a particular pressing, remaster, etc. I always try to include the format, year, and year of the original release. I usually try to answer the question "and why?", as well.

I enjoy seeing what folks here are listening to, in whatever format, and keeping up to date on newer material. I also enjoy reading the longer, more thoughtful posts people take the extra effort to write. I love the album art, too! So many creative covers.

I would go a long with the above as well.

Blizzard Of Ozz - Ozzy Osbourne

Blizzard Of Ozz - Ozzy Osbourne ripped to FLAC. The track 'Revelation (Mother Earth)' has my favourite solo of all time by my favourite guitarist of all time, Randy Rhoads. He died too young, I'd like to live in a universe where he survived and see what he would have gone on to produce ...
