I am really taken with London Grammar's album If You Wait:

London Grammar Cover

I have it on CD. I am less taken that they wanted £25 for the vinyl on Amazon... and now the prices have gone through the freaking roof for it...!

Regards,
Frank.

He is a performer for whom I've never heard a single note of his music.  Where should I start?

Not even when he was with the early Fairport Convention?

If I had to pick one it would be Old Kit Bag, it's an "electric" album, with Danny Thompson on bass and Michael Jerome on drums.

On compact disc "Butthole Surfers EP + PCPPEP" really early stuff from this lot, with tracks such as "The Revenge of Anus Presley" it's very .

Rich sound of the Bosendorfer to go with Bulgarian melodies.

This, on MFSL CD :-

In my opinion one of the very greatest albums of the 1960s, and cruelly neglected. I've also got an original vinyl copy which still sounds fab.

Arve Henrickson, Cosmic Creation, on vinyl. Contemplative music to chill with after a hectic morning.

Posted on: 17 January 2014 by Kevin-W

A peerless 2-CD collection of 1970s/early 80s disco divas, including Sheila B, Andrea True Connection, Janis Ian, Taste of Honey, etc etc

More disco!

Original 1979 vinyl pressing:

Fragmented, wasted, despairing, enervated, chaotic, greedy for entropy: a cutting edge depiction of personal and social collapse in the early 1970s. Sony Legacy reissue CD...

(It's Sly & The Family Stone's "There's A Riot Goin' On", by the way)
