Original vinyl.  Used to be fun seeing them in the clubs back in the day.  Carol Pope was always surprising in her attire.

Original vinyl.  Palmer's rendition of "Sailin Shoes" by Little Feat is not the same or as powerful, but not bad just the same.

A neat Motown compilation on rather thin vinyl but sound quality is above average.  A pleasant surprise.

This Klemperer/Philharmonia '57 Recording contains the best Egmont Overture I have heard to date. I need to find the original pressing.

He was asked during the making of this album to join The Feat but turned it down.. The front photo is taken in the Heathrow Airprot tunnel. Still my favourite Palmer album.

Prompted by a fellow Naimite playing a Stills greatest hits album recently. One album I wish that would receive a Deluxe version treatment as Stills was on fire during this tour.

Stereolab - Mars Audiac Quintet -  on cd.  Psychedelic sounding choons, very trippy in places. From 1994 or 1995, the year every new band were trying to sound like The Beatles.

nice with some coffee....

Frank Zappa - Them Or Us -  on cd. Smooth music for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

dynamic, right in your face trio jazz........, not overly challenging by the way, so also ok for people who are not into jazz..

Where does the time go?  This one has been on my shelf for 20 years.  I bought each new disc of this series as it came out and I remember thinking that I'd never live long enough to see the end of the series.  So much music did Franz Liszt create.

Volume I, II, & III in high rotation plus the miscellaneous discs I have of the Liszt / Schubert transcriptions is in high rotation around my house lately too.

Still perhaps my favourite of the new releases of the current year (of course only among those which I have heard).

Minimalism is all the rage in the more hip-hop-aligned parts of the pop world, making Blank Project feel modern and stylish without exactly sounding fashionable. The album, and the woman steering it, are not only comfortable with their eccentricities but strengthened by them, and the effect is enthralling—not to mention a thorough schooling for the performers working in Cherry’s wake on how exactly to do the dead-cool, stripped-down thing.
