Dear Kuma,

Thank you for writing what you think of the Brandenburg Concerto recordings of Adolf Busch, and relating these to others including one that I also know - the Klemperer recording!

Reading this a huge pleasure for me!

Very best wishes from George

For you!

Vertigo Swirl 1st press vinyl. Just finished my first play of this fine early '70s prog LP.

Posted on: 22 July 2014 by Steve J

Now playing. Bought at the market today. Now I have this minty 1st press JP can take a running jump with the future reissue of this album, and the others for that matter. I've ditched the first three.

I hope you've had better luck than me with PG. I've gone through 3 copies that look mint but even after cleaning they all had some surface noise on In My time of Dying and Kashmir.

No problems so far Steve. Kashmir sounds crystal clear. Playing side one now. I know what you mean though. This is my 4th copy over the years.

First proper workout after the power-downs for thunder storms. What better album could there be for blowing away the cobwebs than this master-piece? The system sure has its mojo back

Hmmm.....

The vinyl is sitting there staring at me....  Side 2 of ZepII, or straight into "Fallen"..... Decisions decisions.....

Just played my wife a couple of tracks. Vinyl now ordered from Amazon for under a tenner US seller so may take awhile.

Well worth it.... Just coming to the end of side 1, and am quite overwhelmed by the power and strength of this music.  A bit goth compared to my usual rock/hair metal tastes, but none the worse for it.
