Kitsch, Tony, is the word for that cover. You won't have the PC brigade out but I dare say the Shakespeare Squadron won't like it.
Oh, I see! It looks like I am totally out of touch with the "brigades" these days. Never liked any sort of sensorship anyway.
Even censorship!

Me neither, I quite like women in uniform, though.
Get yourself off to North Korea then...
(Above: propaganda version; below: the reality )
Your a good pander....got any more?
There aren't any non-excellent RT alabums!
He is a performer for whom I've never heard a single note of his music. Where should I start?
Not even when he was with the early Fairport Convention?
If I had to pick one it would be Old Kit Bag, it's an "electric" album, with Danny Thompson on bass and Michael Jerome on drums.
I didn't even know his lineage. I'm just a bit too young to have heard F.C. during their late 60's early 70's (I think they were not as big here in the States, and I was born in '59 . . . )
Follow it up Bart. I envy you being able to hear these albums for the first time.
Good recommendation from Grahame, some great tracks on that album
Two great interpretations of Robert Johnston's songs and the recording SQ is not that bad considering it's live and I even enjoy the foot tapping timing. It also looks like they all had a great time judging by the video footage. San Francisco Bay Blues showsases that!
Something went kaputt earlier on!

Can't say this is very German.
Very different. Boulez doesn't do much of Beethoven pieces but I find this interesting.
This is like a Gardiner piece, so different from the normal expectation of the 5th, I had to listen to several times to get used to Boulez's idea.
I had to listen to several times to get used to Boulez's idea.
If you listened several times tonight then can I assume you don't subscribe to the notion that vinyl needs to "rest" for a day between listens?
Dances with the snow
Neil Young. Originally released 1968. I've got a 1970 Reprise reissue.
Neil and the Shocking Pinks. Everybody's Rockin'. On vinyl from 1983. Been awhile.

All on the black stuff.
Still working my way through the 2013 new purchases pile.

You are right. I can't be arsed with the 24hr. Rule.
For a *difficult classical music* I usually listen to something entirely different or at least wait for a few days If I need to re-listen a score to digest fully. Sort of like clearing my mind.
Some new classical tunes I have been listening to sometimes take more than a week for me to *get it*.
But not this one.
What a fun ride! The entire score just comes alive under his infectious enthusiasm.
Some of the new vinyl comes with a CD. I thought perhaps the CD was included for RIAA legal purposes, in case a vinyl lover wants a digital copy. Maybe the CD allows frequent listeners to give the vinyl a chance to properly recover between spins .
Floating through some music while trying out my new 552..
