2014-04-28 special guests Mark Cawthra and Bob Leith on the Interesting Alternative Show. Choosing the music, talking about their time in Cardiacs and featuring two tracks from the forthcoming Redbus Noface album.

It was an excellent show and recommended for those who wish to discover new music.

It is a sbd recording of the CSNY gig of that evening from tapes made by the legendary Bill Halverson who worked on a lot of their early albums. It is unavailable for sale.

I'll put my brother on the case - and maybe I'll have a copy on CD one day!  Thanks for the info!

I could point you in the right direction but unfortunately it ain't allowed.

Thanks & I understand..iIt's been handled!

I haven't listened to this LP in absolutely yonks, so after a long and exhausting day I put it on to help me unwind.

Bloody hell it's good. I mean really good. One of the very best LPs of the 1980s, and one of the best 20 albums made by anyone, anywhere at any time.

This is the original 1989 Japanese LP on Factory/Nippon Columbia (pressed by Denon):

I was reminded just how good this album is by some very clued up people on another forum

Liberty 1st press vinyl. Great album from a little known artist.

Just to prove (as did New Order's "Technique" earlier) that the 1980s weren't all bad, a classic 1982 LP by the very underrated, very lovely and very talented Pauline Murray and her Invisible Girls, produced by the legendary Martin Hannett. To be re-issued later this year.

Second play of this recently acquired CD. Even more enjoyable this time. Think this could be a 'grower'.

The James Gang. Yer' Album. On the original Blues Way vinyl from 1969. Eclectic mix of original songs, covers, and jams.

One of the all-time underrated guitarists in my opinion:

Followed by:

I really think this is one of his best, which is saying something because I think he's done a lot of excellent stuff in a very prolific career.  Vinnie Zummo's guitar work is top shelf.

A much needed smooth tone after a long day.
