On Vinyl:-
Led Zeppelin 1 getting a 2nd play. I really like it!
The 24/96 remaster sounds amazing. I have nothing to compare it to but the sound quality I'm witnessing here is great. Foot tapping and head nodding

SQ aside, Anton, you wait until you get to the later albums... if you think the first is good, then wsit until you hear the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth!
On vinyl. Expansive and beautiful. One of the greatest albums ever made.
Kaizers Orchestra again. This time "Maskineri". This recording sounds a bit restrained and flat. The music is still great though but more conventional than their other albums.
More Krautock heaven on vinyl:
Yes indeed Kevin. Nice one. I'm spinning this old favourite at the moment.
Rother's first three solo albums are simply magnificent. Ambient/retro from a scary 37 years ago.
John.

I'm a little embarrassed Kevin to admit this is the 1st time I've listened/owned any of their material.
Being in my early 40's!
I've always assumed they would be too Heavy for me.
I really like the Bluesy side, his voice is amazing and the guitar play
Right, here goes Nr. 2
24/96 remaster stream.
Grateful Dead - Europe '72: The Complete Recordings
#2, Wembley Empire Pool, London, England April 8, 1972.
Disc 1 of 3.
Earlier ...
Genesis - Trespass. 24bit, 48kHz ripped from DVD using DVD Audio Extractor trial. Not a bad job but you need to manually add most of the metadata.
Followed by Hagalaz' Runedance - The Winds That Sang Midgard's Fate. Pagan ethereal folk to tribal drums. Brilliant. Spotify. Must get the albums but difficult to get hold of any but this one.
And now
Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. My favourite Genesis album again 24bit 48kHz.
Really enjoyed Led Zeppelin II. Looks like I'm a new fan!
16/44 CD remaster ripped to WAV
New vinyl. This LP is flavour of the month in some circles at the moment. First play shows why.
Bill Frisell "Is That You?". The very first jazz album I bought many years ago. Still as fresh and exciting today as it was in the early nineties. But then Jazz never really goes out of fashion I guess.

They are indeed John.
24/48 stream. Bjork Vespertine
More Krautock - good old Amon Düül 2: the Yeti album on double vinyl.

Crickey, Anton. I'm envious. Being able to 'discover' Led Zep for the first time is a very exciting prospect. You lucky chap.

His first album still holds a lot of magic for me.

Hi, Crazy really!
Is it just me but since starting the Naim journey 2 years ago I find myself buying more material from 70's onwards than new material?
I do of course buy new material but majority is definitely older material.
Like you say, discovering Led Zeppelin now, let's just say I'm one happy chap
Anton
Kansas. Leftoverture. On Kirshner label vinyl from 1976. My fist time in a long, long time giving this a proper dedicated listen front to back. It really is very good music with quality production.
The Doobie Brothers. The Captain And Me. On Warner Bros green label vinyl from 1973. I really enjoy the sound from the band's original line-up.
German Space Rock at it's finest
