This is one of the most exciting young jazz musicians around. If you would like to get a good feeling what jazz is about nowadays, give it a try...

Couldn't wait any longer for the vinyl pressing to be approved by Nils, so bought the CD.

Truly wonderful music making and can't wait to see him again.

This performance had a few scathing reviews amongst critics, but I love Lenny's vitality and power. It is  similar to Carlos Keilber set where both conductor's enthusiasms influencing the musical attitude. Altho, this one is slightly going Hollywood with swashbuckling finale. A welcome change especially after the stodgy generic sounding Krips' 5th.
