Dave Brock -  Strange Trips & Pipe Dreams -  on cd. Studio solo album

released in between Psychedelic Warriors 'White Zone' and 'Alien' album in '95, bit of ambient/trance/dance combined with Brock's distinctive guitar and vocals. Complete with fold out sci fi cover.

Prompted by an excellent documentary just now on BBC Radio 4, I decided to exhume this CD from the darkest recesses of the collection:

Link to the documentary, which is really worth hearing, is here:

CD rip:-

Mother - Natalie Maines,  solo debut album of a 1/3 of and lead singer of the Dixie Chicks.

Not a bad album, I guess if you like DC then this will be a good addition.

Roger Waters, Pink Floyd fans can get upset with her version of Mother.

I bought the vinyl, but a CD copy is included. Thanks to Stu for reco.

Then you have to listen to Awake aswell. Almost as good as Images and Words but in my opinion better SQ.

I also must must say that I love the name of Dream Theater's Greatest Hits album...

Original EMI UK pressing of one of my very favourite albums - cleaned by Dr Steve's Keith Monks RCM, and sounding better than it's ever done:

Thanks Fredrik, your post has promoted me to get more DT so I have ended up buying their 12 CD box set of their studio albums 1992-2011. £26 seemed like a good price over at the rain forest.

Cosmic Jokers: "Galactic Supermarket", on cassette (taped yonks ago - must buy it on vinyl one of these days). An obscure Krautrock gem...

Not their best album IMO, their original self titled album was but I do enjoy Sonja Kristina's voice on any of their work.
