I had the pleasure of meeting the band as I promoted a couple of their gigs. Never thought that the album did them justice but the ep did. September one of my all time fav trax.

Excellent 3-CD compilation of music from the Harvest label. Only the unutterably twee wittering of Dolly and Shirley Collins lets it down.

For people who don't know these guys very melodic / jazz, world music

In fact, one of the music mags in the 1980s did a (thoroughly unscientific, I don't doubt) survey of League footballers' musical tastes, and the 'Tak were by a country mile the most popular.

Hold the front page. Footballer listens to cr*p music. I always thought he was a pretentious tw*t , although I must admit I do like the smiths.

Not the heavy rock you'd expect from Gillan, more jazz rock. Excellent album.

Sarah Mclachlan on vinyl. Enjoyable enough, but not my favorite of her albums.
