If you aren't going to buy all TD's Virgin Years output you may be interested in this 2 CD sampler which contains mostly unedited tracks from all their Virgin label albums except "Cyclone" plus a couple of excellent titles from the "Risky Business" soundtrack.

Thanks for that sjbabbery. I only have 4 of their virgin years works. Exit, Force Majeure, Phaedra and Rubycon. I should have just gone and bought the two Virgin Years box sets 74-78 and 77-83 but I don't think they had been released when I started picking up the re-masters a number of years ago.

Franciscus ("Frans") Jozef Bruggen was a notable Dutch conductor, recorder player and baroque flautist. He died on August 13, 2014.

Currently playing 'Blood on the Tracks' - Bob Dylan

At the beginning of the year there were strong rumours that the next release in the bootleg series would be the New York sessions recordings of these songs, but so far - nothing. Does anyone know if and when?

I've heard some of the tracks on YouTube (different to those on the bootleg series 1-3) and I'd say they might even be better than the released version.

Bach"Since the beginning of the 20th century, the six Suites for Solo Violoncello have been part of the core repertoire of all cellists thanks to the tireless commitment of Pablo Casals (1876-1973). According to Casal's own account, while rummaging in a music shop in Barcelona, by chance he came across an old edition of the suites, possibly the first Paris edition dating from 1824. The pieces, which have previously been unknown even to cellists, became generally known."
