THIS IS HAWKWIND, DO NOT PANIC - Flicknife label reissue vinyl

verisimilitude cd. Contains a small poster and my favourite rendition of "Levitation".

One of the trios that formed out of Morphine, A.K.A.C.O.D (Also Known As Colley, Ortiz & Dersch).

First listen.  Cool stuff.  I think if you like Morphine, you would enjoy this.

Ozric Tentacles - Curious Corn - on cd,

guitar jamming like type tracks mixed with dance influenced stuff - a pleasant canter through the aether.

First up was Kaizers Orchestra's "Maestro" on vinyl - just to get in the right mood!

Then I put on "Made Up Mind" by Tedeschi Trucks Band - and like their previous releases it's just brilliant!

Right now I'm listening to "Meet me in London" - which I quite like!

Frank Zappa  - BABY SNAKES -  on import cd,

alternate tracks from ''in New York' and 'Sheikyerbouti' albums, the finest music mixed with the finest comedy.

The highly talented Caitlan Canty. I have just done my bit for her new album due out in Dec this year. The new album features a long time fav artist of mine Jeffrey Foucault.

Ewemon

this is the band. Their other album was called Too Close For Comfort. They did the college/pub circuits in the later 70s and were probably somewhere between R&B (as we used to define it!) and Blue Eyed Soul/Funk. But who knows! I am useless at trying to define genres. They were just fab live and were a hard working band. There were several at the time, certainly in London like Racing Cars, Meal Ticket, etc. Some like Juicy Lucy and Ducks Deluxe became a little more famous.

That didn't work did it! Sorry I will find another picture!

ALAC CD rip. Nice relaxing early Cohen after a lot of Led Zep.

I was listening to this CD rip of the soundboard recording of the '75 Earls Court concerts and decided to do a direct comparison with the Paris concert recording on the hi-res Led Zep I remaster.

I've been very happy with the hi-res files of the studio albums, thanks Kevin, but I'm afraid the Blasphemy CD shows how they could have done better with the live concert material on the remastered album. It sounds like your listening in the foyer rather than in the concert hall in comparison.

2014 hits collection from the Texas Blues singer. Lou Ann Barton was a founding member of Double Trouble and the Fabulous Thunderbirds before going solo.

First listen.  So far, I like it.

Its great to find something you enjoy when you have taken a flyer on it.

Not sure if she still is but she was the beau of Tom Ovans at one time.

God Racing Cars, haven't heard that name for a long time. I promoted part of a tour of theirs once.
