Not a Genesis album that I play often, my 'go-to' ones being the usual suspects like Trick of the Tail, Nursery Crimes, Trepass and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.  But this 2007 CD remaster is enjoyable, particularly Phil's drums on the opening track Mama

I love the solo concerts, like also the trio stuff. This is a very nice document - similar as Koln.

Inspired by Aleg. Have two copies since our daughter insisted at the time to have her own album.

Recorded in 1946 this is a Stravinsky conducting his newly edited down 1919 version of the Firebird.

I was startled how well this old recording is retaining the opening hushed bass notes that runs through quietly.

As with all of his conducting style, it is playful and witty, Stravinsky does not dwell on any notes keeping lively rhythmic pulse.

The build to the finale is slower than his later version and He completely ignores the usual *tidal* wave of dramatic build to the finale. Instead, he takes on the march like stance.  Perhaps less drama than most but nonetheless, it's interesting.

Haven't listened to progressive rock for some time on my system, I guess I wanted to spare my cats :-)....., my listening concentrated itself a lot around classical piano and jazz. Anyhow this is a classical example of Flower Kings progressive rock, especially the first song a live supreme. If you like that song than most probably you will like the Flower Kings. The fullness I get with my Nap300 by the way put's a great smile on my face.

Recording is of differing quality, but I always appreciate listening to Osacr as it's a very relaxing kind of music.

Psychedelic Warriors - WHITE ZONE  -   on cd.

the place where space and time begin to deliquesce, not delicatesse - you may need the Orb's Pomme Fritz album if you want any pasties, sloo.

This album is in my top 5 for jazz. These guys redefined what trio jazz can be about and this album is an honest account of what they have been about.

Wow, a ticket price of $5.50 when in 1970 the dollar was at about $2.50 to the pound.
