Yep, "can't you hear me knocking" is his finest hour. What a track!

If I recall correctly, isn't that the album cover with the real zip?

Johann Sebastian Bach:  Igor Levit (Klavier)

Partita No. 1 in B-Flat Major BWV 825

Partita No. 2 in C minor BWV 826

Partita No. 4 in D Major BWV 828

Partita No. 3 in A minor BWV 827

Partita No. 5 in G Major BWV 829

Partita No. 6 in E minor BWV 830

As Robert Schumann once wrote, "I'm convinced that Bach is unbeatable:  he is incommensurable."

Yes, it is. I house mine in a 800g PVC sleeve so it won't damage other record covers.

Busoni: Transcriptions of works by Bach & Brahms:  David Theodor Schmidt (Klavier)

An assortment of wonderful Busoni recreations of great works of music.  For example, the Chaconne, which is from Bach's second Partita for solo violin is what I would consider an indispensable piece of music.  I couldn't imagine a world without it personally.  Schmidt, somehow creates a fresh, clear vision here with loads of colour due in some part to his choice of instrument which is a fantastic sounding Bechstein.

It was a pain in the arse to store in your record collection because of it.

Latest from The Rosebuds.  Lots of good homegrown artists here in NC.

"Privateering" with Mark Knopfler. I quite like this album with its mix of blues, rock and folk music.

My advice Pat is for you to listen to it first before deciding as you may not like it as much as I do.
