When I fancy a bit of K Crimson, this is the album I tend to go for. I've always been intrigued by the complexity and lyrics.

MCLD CD pressing which is the original Steve Hoffman mastered recording.

FLAC rip.

It's a lot like being lost in the funhouse, then the last part is a kind of sonic tapestry. It's one you can play again and again and find something fresh in it. Nice cover as well !

A good description for it, Char.

A great album.  This one's a high-res download on USB into nDAC but to be honest it's only a tad better than my CD which itself is a rather indifferent recording.

Over the weekend, I have inherited a couple of hundred records from a friend's brother who wanted to down size.
Now I have my very own copy of Beatle's Magical Mystery Tour album. It must been about 40 years since I have listened to this record on a turntable.

Another copy I pulled out tonight is this original CTI pressing of George Benson's Good King Bad. This will replace my 8000 series 80s reissue ( released as Cast Your Fate to the Wind ) as the original sounds miles better.

Haven't played this album in so many years. Always thought it was one of Alices best and the last album of his I liked.

I love the James Gang - lots of nostalgic memories, and now going off topic from my theme of Blues/Rock this morning:

I was never a fan of Punk music by and large, but I do like this album.
