Not a proto-type for modern HIP recordings, but something completely timeless in reality.

I doubt if any recording of the music has dated less, and no doubt today's HIP style will be very dated in another fifty-five years ...

George,

Even the blend of all instruments remain individual creating this beautiful illuminating colours. Comparatively, almost everyone else sounds busy and confused and, for me, this Klemperer set makes following the tune much easier.

A friend introduced me to Yuna on her self-titled album(2012).  Liked her enough to purchase the follow up.  I haven't given this album many listens (the 'new pile' seems to grow weekly ...).  But it is an enjoyable pop album.

Scottish Ensemble/Jonahtan Rees. Ultra civilised and polite rendition. I can barely keep myself awake. :/

A pastel hued non offensive wall paper.

Wings - Band on the Run, AIFF CD rip. Not a huge Beatles fan collectively or separately. This is always worth a play though. Did PM use all his talent up on this album? So much of his output that I've heard falls short of this album by miles.

+1 BigH. I've always enjoyed this album but Mr McCartney's subsequent offerings haven't been anywhere near as good IMO.

Purchased today. I've enjoyed Ms Nicks as part of FM. Thought I'd try some of her solo stuff.

Neil's first album from 1968, released on his 23rd birthday - 12th November 1968, where did the years go!

Sounding great as I log off from work, listening in my study as this is playing in the lounge.... who needs a multi room system!
