The Beatles. Hey Jude. Orange label Capitol vinyl from 1976. Originally released in 1970, after Abbey Road and before Let It Be. This compilation of singles is being re-released today in CD format as part of the Capitol Records Beatles US albums. It will be interesting to see how sales go for this re-packaging. I suspect tepid. No doubt vinyl will follow, although we've yet to see the mono re-masters on vinyl, have we?
Arrived yesterday. 1st play. As I work towards completing my Diana Krall collection
David,
thanks for the interesting reply : )
I've had a look on the wah-wah site, i see what you mean about clumsy, i can't seem to download anything from them or find out what they have in stock! Although the picture of their shop is very attractive, would love to jump on a plane and fly out there for some Barcelona retail therapy. Be a bit warmer out there too, than around these damp and chilly parts...
Debs
…..the Embryo and other releases they do as a label are here:

And the secondhand stock list is an excel spreadsheet which you download from the shop part of the site. I find it almost endearing it is so old fashioned a way displaying records on a website - but they have c. 25,000 titles to browse!! As I remember you just e-mail them for what you want.
Having just read this fascinating book :-
I'm now going through my Procol Harum albums, mostly on original vinyl. Today it's :-
Great though the song "A Whiter Shade of Pale" is, in many ways it's served to pin their music to a narrow genre when in fact they're a quite superb band with a large and extremely high-quality output. If you get the chance, watch this live recording from 2003 and marvel at how good they really are :-
I enjoyed this LP so much last night I'm giving it another spin this lunchtime.
Between us by Peter Bradley Adams really nice album to relax to.
Build me this by joshua James really likes this album .

"Cosmic Machine". Because sometimes only a 2-LP limited edition compilation of 1970s French electronica, pressed on transparent vinyl will do:

Recorded on 29 November 1957 at "Thanksgiving Jazz", a benefit concert produced by Kenneth Lee Karpe for the Morningside Community Center in Harlem.
The tape was stored at the Library of Congress where it sat untouched, until 2005 when it was discovered by recording lab supervisor Larry Appelbaum. The recording was then restored by producer Michael Cuscuna and T.S. Monk (Thelonious Monk's son).
