Half an hour into this SACD, I am blown away. Not only is the recording one of the very best I have ever heard, the performance is truly exceptional. This is music of the very highest order, full of poise, elegance and wit, but Savall and his ensemble also bring out its vitality and joie de vivre. One can imagine the old king, Louis XIV, in the autumn of his days, being cheered up no end by these glorious little pieces.

I shall be playing this one again and again... and seeking out more of Jordi Savall.

This is a one of the best sounding Phillips analogue pressing from the 70s.

Thumbs up for that kuma and from a real Debussy specialist - Arrau, not you.

Kevin I challenge you to name all 18,923,456 of them.  If you can't then you are just talking !£"(^!"%!

Bill, for bevity's sake, I will name the albums which are NOT better than Rumours.

They include:

All post-Rumours Fleetwood Mac albums except for "Tusk"

All Eagles albums

All James Taylor, CS&N, Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Sting, Elvis Costello, Spandau Ballet, Dexys, Dire Straits, REM, Pogues, Sandy Denny, Dolly & Shirley Collins, Fairport, ELP, Genesis, Tracy Chapman, Horslips and Coldplay albums

Also, any U2 album that isn't "Achtung Baby" or "Rattle & Hum"

"A Momentary Lapse of reason" and "Delicate Sound of Thunder" by the Floyd

...and that leaves nearly 19 million?  Don't think so.

Do agree with you about Genesis, U2, Dexys and Coldplay though, you should have added Bruce Springsteen and Tears for Fears.
