It's got to be Machine  Head for me Steve. Fireball is a very close second with just a sheet of Bronco separating it from In Rock though...

I Prefer the Machine Head tracks on Made In Japan. If you ever come across the Rhino reissue of MH mastered by Kevin Grey it's well worth picking up even if you've got the UK first press.

I like these two as a pair but what personally attracts me the most here is the program.  Very much represents core music for me currently.  I've enjoyed this CD for a couple of years already but why I am beyond ecstatic about this recording currently...?

I am expecting the soon to be released vinyl of this to arrive at my door by the end of this month or early November !!!!!

Life is slowly improving for those of us who have had to endure through this digital smog world for about 3 decades since satan came up with digital.  I wish we would have a choice of format for all music.

Doug,

You are putting me in a mood for Russian female pianists and I can't find anyone more suitable for this rainy morning than Polina Leschenko and her Forgotten Melodies.
