Earlier:  Caribou - Our Love

1st listen.  At the end of the CD, my reaction was "What?! Its over?"  Will be in regular rotation for a while.

Now:  Cate Lebon - Mug Museum

The Very Best of Dire Straits. On HDCD from 1998. Because game 1 of the World Series is a blow out.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Psychedelic Pill. On 2-1/2 LP vinyl from 2012. In the mood to relax with something recent on vinyl having a mellow, psychedelic sound. It was between this and Morning Phase. Must remember to play Beck tomorrow.

Don't be put off by the cheesey cover this is a really good modern Texas Country rock album.

Currently about to start touring the UK and I very happy that after all these years I will manage to go and see him live. Mind you it still involves me driving for 6 hours.

For those of you who haven't heard this guy do yourself a favour and listen to the album above and especially Coat of Mail.

This is a great album to test your system.

Brilliant absolutely brilliant.

Rory was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Just like one of the boys down at your local. Had an amazing memory for what gigs he had played and where.

Saw him in Taste and then a number of times with his own band and he always delivered.

Mine too!

I'm also a fan of Gene Clark - 'No other' is certainly close to being my favourite, but 'Roadmaster' is up there too:

I must admit I've never even heard of the artists in your last 4 or 5 posts though.

Not including Rory Gallagher of course

I get stuff sent to me from friends all over the world, some of it is good and well to be honest some of it I wouldn't normally entertain.

Felt like digging out some more 70s Country Rock:

Need a bit of a change of direction, but still from the 70s:

QMS Live at the Quarter Note Lounge 1977 - CD1 shortly to be followed by CD2.

Suspect sound quality, but great music!
