UB40

Just playing Birmingham's finest before we go see them tonight at York Barbican.

Still sounds as magnificent as it did in 1980!

Loved UB40 back in the day! Enjoy the concert!

Listening to a 40'th Anniversary CD (ripped) which I bought yesterday after having lost it a while ago.

I first listened to "Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars" in the late seventies. My father was given it from a client and of all things was given together with a naff ceramic jug from Tia Maria. I must have been around 8 or nine years and I played it again and again. In my opinion his best album ever!

On CD. Just love this band.

The original vinyl of this album has always eluded me and it goes for silly money now. BGO have reissued the John Dummer albums on AAD CD and I'm listening to an ALAC rip. This is very good.

Our local newspaper currently has a pretty decent music journalist.  And he is young enough that he likes to create "favorite tracks" playlists, which I am than able to duplicate in Spotify.

Ryan Adams passed through town recently and the writer created his favorite 25 tracks from Ryan's releases.  The playlist is below and playing now:
