Very good (and pretty good quality, soundwise) Beatles boot CD collecting various performances from the mid-60s. Demonstrates what an amazing, and amazingly tight, live band they were.

On Vinyl:-

On original vinyl from further back than I care to remember:

Definitely not his best known work, but still my favourite John Martyn album. I have a few of his better known albums as well, but I think I respect them more than I enjoy playing them.

Is that because of today's result Chris?  If not, get well soon.

Can't play my music at present as my system is all packed away as we are redecorating. But if I could I would play this as it was the track Dusty from the famous Island sampler, You Can All Join In, that hooked me to John Martyn  back in '69.

I'm also decorating, but not the music room. This is when the Muso comes in handy.

ALAC rip. I'm really enjoying this fine CD rip. The version of NSU with Bruce, Baker and Gary Moore, is better than any Cream version I've heard, probably because this is so well recorded.

More Scott (prompted by another hearing of Bowie's new record, "Sue", which is very late-period Walkeresque). The synths and - especially - the fretless bass date this somewhat, but at its heart these are great songs written and sung by an extraordinary artist.
