The Byrds. Greatest Hits Volume II. On vinyl from 1972. Contains 'Chestnut Mare', my favorite Byrds song.

I had this one for the four last songs with Gundula, however the first piece is also worth while

Nite Flights by The Walker Brothers. Gary and John's tunes are OK, but nothing to write home about, but Scott's four songs... wow! "The Electrician" still sounds as remarkable now as it does in 1978.

Engineers mastertape of the above playing live in the studio. Sq is excellent and they are on top form. Mid 70's
Just this morning I was playing "Tusk" in the car and explaining to my (presumably bored, eye-rolling) kids about the "Cocaine Trilogy" and arc of the band's career and reationships. The title track came on. My youngest said he liked it. I explained how it seemed VERY strange at the time it was released. Doesn't sound at all strange now.
Watch out because some of the songs in the dvd are not on the record. Things i'll never understand.........
