Bit of Seal to start the evening's listening. Don't think there is a single weak song on this album.

The song The Blower's Daughter is a real treat on this, and the bass a test of any system's capabilities.

Official live recording limited edition release

The hauntingly beautiful sounds of the Cowboy Junkies recorded in Trinity Church, Toronto.  Simple microphone, single take, excellent acoustics (if you listen carefully you can hear the low pitch rumble of the subway on some of the tracks, it doesn't take away from the music though).  Great blues rock.

Apye,

How is the vinyl SQ? I only have this on CD.

I was thinking about getting this on vinyl because.....

This young man never had a bummer in some 33 LSD trips. Every one of them was a delight, everything under control. He needed only to snap his fingers and down he came, anytime. But on voyage 34 he finally met himself coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing.

Pink Floyd. Wish You Were Here. Half-speed mastered vinyl from 1980. An "extended range recording". Interesting literature Columbia includes with the LP. They imply that the frequency range of the analog source tape is 30-15,000 hertz, but once digitally processed and half-speed mastered for vinyl it becomes 20-20,000 hertz. Sounds like some voodoo electronics to me. It is a very good sounding pressing.

I know too, Don. I pay attention here. JV . It's a nice LP. Many folks think it was her first, but "Writer" was.
