Thanks Charles44,

Just tried searching for them in Qobuz, and to my amazement, they have the album for 4.99 Euros.

Sounds pretty good from the clips on Qobuz - at 4.99 euros, how can I resist.

Thanks Steve & Charles.

dayjay , not one I play often but as you say an excellent album, with some classic cuts. Nobody's hero playing now.

Steve J originally posted:

"How did you find Dylan and the Dead? I've always felt it was Dylan's and the Dead's worst album ever"

I replied (spot the deliberate mistake:

Steve,

I have quite a few Dylan albums up to and including 'Desire' along with a few of his much later albums. I have maybe 4 albums by the Band, but amazingly didn't have anything of Dylan playing live with the Band.

Picked this one up (on CD) from Oxfam recently, but don't have anything to compare it with. I actually quite like the album - certainly worth the money I paid for it in Oxfam. What others would you recommend?

What I have written above is correct, but of course the record in question is Dylan and the Dead, and not Dylan and the Band.

I have to say I'm probably a bigger fan of the Dead than the Band, but I still quite like the album. Not a favourite, but well worth the £2.99 from Oxfam.

Much underrated at the time but it's a good album and still stands up well.
