Listening to this right now at work on Spotify. tbh a new one for me but so impressed I've just clicked Buy on the album. Thanks for the that :-)

Hi

Kudos to Anthony Mason.  He really is a hard core music lover and does great

profile news segments on a lot of musicians,  The Saturday Morning show is

on CBS and in the Pacific NW on from 5 am to 7 am.  The music segment is

usually in the last half hour.

This morning on CBS he is interviewing Jimmy Page.

I have discovered 5 or 6 artist in the past 6 months

because of him.

Enjoy the Barr Brothers, I like that album a lot.

Not their most beloved album, even among hardcore 'Frappers, but I still like it...

Kevin,

That's been a lot of 'Frapping' over the past few hours!

On Spotify - had this already on my long potential buy list but will now put it more into the front, great driving jazz music...

Thought I'd give my only Goldfrapp album a play:

and it is rather good - better than I remembered!

Going to see 'em tonight (for the 24th time) and it's all very exciting. Just wondering what to wear - don't know whether to go with the "Seventh Tree" Pierrot look or the spangly-top-hat-leotard-and-thigh-boots "Black Cherry" ensemble.

What do you think?

One, even one as good as "Felt Mountain", is never enough - you need to get all of them, in this order:

  1. Tales of Us
  2. Seventh Tree
  3. Supernature
  4. Black Cherry
  5. Headfirst
  6. Singles
  7. We Are Glitter

Last one for me before heading out to the Albert Hall.

Had to join in the Frappiness! Felt Mountain remains my favourite, just edging out Tales of Usles of Us.

I think the soundtrack is released today, yes the previews sound pretty decent; and with signs like this having to go up, I might just take a trip to the cinema to see the film!

It's a great live album Kuma which, before yesterday was new to me. Qobuz allows me to explore new music and be more selective with my vinyl purchases. This is definitely one I shall keep an eye out for an original copy.
