H, if you like that , have a listen to In A Glass House, my favourite album.

I recently acquired that one too, I'll put on the playlist.

GG are definately proggy, in a quieter way than others it seems from the Gentle Giant album. Worth investigating further I think.

Great album,  I prefer it to Brothers in arms

Pretenders on an old Superdisk pressing. I fondly remembering seeing them in a club around the time of this LP. Great show.

26 million copies sold since the debut and now it's in the second reissue pressing.

Disappointingly noisy and exhibits a slight distortion in some spots but par for the course for any reissue.

On to the music it's a pleasant timer passer. After the first tune side A ( 'Don't Know Why' ), which I think the best tune out of the whole album, the rest of easy going low energy songs all sound the same.

Need more cowbells!

The Pretenders evening continues (well at least until the record is over and off to bed). Nice reissue Kuma or maybe my original copy is played to death. No. 000122 for what that matters.

CD Rip streamed from my NAS:

Surprisingly 'accessible' for a Patti Smith album. Wasn't a huge fan of her music when she was at her peak, but getting to like her music more and more.

This could almost be a new topic, but there are other a number of other bands/performances I intensely  hated when they were at the height of their powers, but now like very much indeed, including:

Roxy Music/Brian Ferry

Queen

I used to get really annoyed when Brian May regularly appeared at the top of 'Best Guitarists' ratings. I now love his guitar riffs & solos with Queen.

Really strange!

Well worth a listen if you like London Grammar

From the brand new MTV Unplugged album "Gentleman"

Special attention for the song "You  Remember"
Never heard a song more true to today and my current "problems"

Amazing quality and great music too. A musthave for reggae/big band fans

The mighty Frapp, live at the Brixton Academy 6th October 2005 - this was recorded and mixed on the fly by Will G and sold immediately after the gig.

Obviously on vinyl (Direct Cut):

Superb SQ and very good music, as you would expect from something in this range of recordings. I've owned this from new and played pretty rarely, so it's been well looked after.
