Michael Stanley

"The Hang"    (2012)

The first of a trilogy (along with "The Ride" and "The Job"), Michael Stanley doing' his rock and roll 'thang.  Music from the North Coast, i.e. the shores of Lake Erie.  I have listened to this man's music for  42 years.

The extra tracks are cool. Hard for me to decide on my favorite CCR album but if you claim this one I wouldn't argue.

  • This is my favourite CCR album which it just so happens seeing your post made me pull it out.

I highly recommend Murder Ballads and the last album Push The Sky both get played a lot here.

Four motets and a mass by Antoine Brumel, a member of the Franco-Flemish school of the Renaissance. Spellbinding music - when I'm in the mood, nothing compares to renaissance sacred polyphony. The performance by the Brabant Ensemble is beyond excellent.

Jeff Beck ~ Blow by Blow

Originally released in 1975, this is the 2001 remaster.

Not sure that I really need to say much as to why I am listening to JB. He is one of the finest guitarists this or any country has ever produced and this (early) album is yet another example of his virtuosity.

Felix Laband - Dark Days Exit. Electronic music at its best and extremely well recorded.
