The water flowing
The endless river."

One of my long awaited album releases that came out a few weeks ago.

Its now one of my most played 2014 LPs and CDs.

His old man would of loved it.

I Love it to bits.

Aphex Twin - Syro

What 80's sci-fi movies thought music would sound like in the future. They were right! On vinyl.

On CD:-

Frank Zappa - Over-Nite Sensation.

It's 21 years to the day since Frank passed away.

It was certainly worth the wait. Richard did not disappoint. Top three albums of 2014!

Neil Young. On The Beach. From the vinyl box set released this week. My personal favorite of the set and seems to be have slightly better SQ than the other three LPs.

Definitely makes my top three as well; I reckon War on Drugs "Lost in a Dream" will be in there too Tony... so what's your third?

Mine is FKA Twigs - LP1

Rush, Roll the Bones, their 14th album released in 1991 and a return to guitar lead music. The album went platinum, only the Beatles and the Stones have more consecutive gold and platinum albums than Rush. And as an added bonus they toured off this album which was a joy. 24 bit flac streamed,  rather wonderfully,  via Hugo

DS,  Everyday Robots completes my choice of top three. It is such a deeply, beautifully written and produced album. Not to everyone's taste but, no doubt,  a great album!

Good choice, it makes my top five.  My tickets to see WoD in February have just arrived, looking forward to that one - big time, and also Warpaint in March.

My favourite Zappa album and I didn't realise Frank had died that long ago.

That sounds like a good start to the year, DS. I'll see you there if you're in London.
