Wonderful double album, ewemon. Stevie W at his best IMO, and superb sound quality
David Bowie - The Next Day
His latest studio album showing he has not lost his touch....Great listen.
First listen of this recently purchased CD. My only Sheryl Crow album is The Globe Sessions which I very much enjoy when I'm in the mood and I've I had it for many years. I think The Globe Sessions dates from around 1998 so I was interested to see how her new material compared. Feels Like Home has that unmistakable Sheryl style but is a bit softer, slower and more melodic than the 'rock' of The Globe Sessions. I'm enjoying it.
Yes, I've got this more recent boring cover for Electric Ladyland, too. Pity they couldn't have stuck with the original as shown by Raider.
Red Raider. As Far As Siam. On vinyl from 1981. Mastered by Wally Traugott. A solid rock LP with songs by Tom Cochrane, features the band's best-known song 'Lunatic Fringe'.
Taste - Taste (1969)
Original vinyl
The Rory Gallagher fronted trio

Superb album along with On The Boards.
Superb album along with On The Boards.
Totally agree. I was lucky enough to see Taste a couple of times, including at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival... of all the bands I saw there, the first album I played when I returned home was "On the Boards."

I was 2 years old in 1970 so missed out on the IOW
Atlantic plum.
This must be one Joni's best.
Raspberries Best. On Capitol orange label vinyl from 1976. Eric Carmen was enormously popular in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, where I grew up. The songs are very familiar with a lot of great power chord riffs, high energy, and fun. Unfortunately the SQ on this pressing is pretty shitty. I wonder if anyone here has heard the MFSL 2013 pressing and how it sounds?
Great album, quality reduced after the 2nd album

Hi Joe
Do you remember the band The Choir ? Had a regional hit "Its Cold Outside" ? Three of the original members of The Raspberries - Wally Bryson - guitar, Dave Smalley - bass, and Jim Bonfanti - drums were in The Choir. Saw The Choir several times live in a local teen club, approx 1965-1966. Last I knew Smalley was in Arizona and the others still in the Cleveland area.

Jeff A
Jeff A,
Just YouTubed 'Its Cold Outside'. Yes I remember that song very well. A great tune of the kind I loved growing up. Haven't heard it in years, maybe decades. Never associated it with the Raspberries. Thanks for that.
Quite meditative music - good for the late Friday evening

Larry,
Congrats on getting the set and finding it flawless. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I'm curious, where did you find the edition number? I can't find any indication on mine.

Now that IS a blast from the past. I lost my copy of this in the 70s., I seem to remember that was after Spooky Tooth and before his Ariel Bender - Mott the Hoople days.
Jimi Hendrix - VALLEYS OF NEPTUNE - on c.d.
one of the more recent releases, alternate mix versions of familiar favourites - it's Jimi, so I can dig it, man.
