Nice to hear the late great Eric Woolfson playing piano.

I'm tempted with that AP box set you have. Although not a huge AP fan it is very good value and a great way to discover their back catalogue I probably missed out on first time around.

Stevee,

I have been a big fan of all APs work since before Pink Floyd's DSOTM.

I have everything on vinyl/ CD/DVD Except this never released album that comes in the box set.

I bought it originally as a Christmas present for one of my family.

I have had to order another box.

One of Mary's early albums. While I like all her work I think her early stuff has a certain magic that shades it for me.  This album from '95 has some lovely songs e.g. The Crow On the Cradle.

Very nice SQ bit of 180g Ltd edition vinyl and packaging.

What number is yours?

My copy is 223 of 1000

Hi Stu. I  must admit i was not sure on first listen. I have a couple of CDs by Buddy from around the time in the late 90s / 2000 when I was listening to Bob Harris and he use to play Buddy alot as he was a big campaigner against land mines as I remember and had a single out . I think this album will grow on me just need to give it a good listen.

Mine is no 225.

ATB Graham.

Fairport Convention - Unhalfbricking (1969)

Original vinyl

Two tracks from the end of this classic.

Another new one for me. Only my third John Scofield album, but I just love that tone.

Note to self - play more diminished and altered scales!

And while you're at it find some use for the wretched whole tone scale!

I have the early Sandy Denny era Fairport albums on original vinyl; to be honest they are all a little crackle and pop-ish - but what the heck, they bring back good memories.

I think the introduction to "Fracture" by King Crimson on Starless and Bible is the whole tone scale.

Edited to add the tab.

BLACK FRANCIS BLUEFINGER -  gatefold cover c.d.

another blend of punk, metal, indie, psychedelic, and any other genre you care to mention, makes for some very spiky tunes.

Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar is English rock singer Robert Plant's tenth solo album and the first studio one with his backing band The Sensational Space Shifters, although the name of the band is not mentioned in the front cover. It was released on 8 September 2014

One of the best albums of 2014

Robert Fripp has stated that "Fracture" is one of the most difficult guitar pieces he has ever played
