I think the introduction to "Fracture" by King Crimson on Starless and Bible is the whole tone scale.

Edited to add the tab.

Robert Fripp has stated that "Fracture" is one of the most difficult guitar pieces he has ever played

Only bettered by RED, their last great album. After that, it all went downhill.

One of the best albums of 2014

You

Forgot to say the CD comes with the vinyl.

Its not on my best albums of 2014 list.

Its dull as dish water and as boring as a caravan site.

It never gets going,

Just when one thinks it will?

It turns into a dead desert ant that couldn't make it back home before the heat got the better of him.

IMO Robert should have just done a live album.

Reason why ?

The live shows have been brilliant and really show how good he and his brilliant band really are.

Yes, I must admit I did get a guitar out to have a go at that tab.... the guitar was back on its stand pretty shorty afterwards!

Very true! I was lucky enough to see them a few times in the late 60's early 70s, Alvin wearing his usual green combat jacket, his Gibson 335 with the "ban the bomb" sticker, playing with the afterburners on, Leo rattling along on bass grinding out the rhythm with Chick and Ric.  What a band.

NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE -  ZUMA -  reissue c.d that cost about £5.00. and sounds good, I was expecting it to sound a bit harsh and brittle, but no, it's nice warm and fluid sounding, especiially on the last track but one, my second favourite track of this is Bar Stool Blues - I like the rocky blues vibe and I like the lyrics to it.
