Brilliant album

What do you think of their follow-up album - BCC 2 dayjay?

I like it, and I like Afterglow but I'm not so sure they hit the heights of the first album.  I love One Last Soul which is a superb rock song and the whole album hangs together really well.  I haven't had it on for a good old while  so thanks for prompting me, I'll dig it out in the morning and have a listen, with the volume up of course

Joining the D.934 club. This is my only version on disc, and it is truly excellent.

Cheers

One of Mary Black's earlier albums.  The first time I heard Mary B was many years ago on sampler disc provided free with Hi-Fi World magazine and I was captivated by the song Trying To Get The Balance Right which comes from this album.  Mary's version of Moon River on here is very nice too.

Have kept trying but still cannot get into her. Won't give up though.

The album has been pushed back to late Feb but that may change. My lips are sealed.

My first Hyperion disc of Bach Piano Transcriptions, just making me hungry for more. THe playing of Nadejda Vlaeva is exceptional.

Lenny Breau was murdered few months after making this recording. The crime was never solved.

It's been a few years since i listened to this.

I only find the Schubert easily recognisable, particularly good from a composition point of view and with this trio style.

The feel though-out ranges in strengths of melancholy but remains enjoyable.

I did contemplate a bit long between this version and the one from Carolin Wildmann, I prefer this version.

Ten Years After. Cricklewood Green. On Deram vinyl from 1970. A creative mix of rocksy, bluesy, and folksy music, I only recently discovered this gem from a used bin after seeing frequent postings of it here. Thanks to all those posters for the suggestion!

Their best album in my view, which includes the long version of Love Like A Man
