How come?

its not released on vinyl until 29th December .

Ordered this in Deluxe Vinyl Bundle in September

The FLAC was ready for download on on 26th September, the vinyl arrived earlier this month.  It looks as if they are now on the third run of Ltd Edition vinyl.

I forgot to add that the SQ of this first pressing release is excellent; and I much prefer listening to the album on vinyl than FLAC.  The milky white colouring of the vinyl is also impressive.

Cool,

Thanks for that info. It

Zero 7 ~ The Garden (2006)

Just something to chill out to and purge the Christmas madness (going on here), for a little while at least.

After "disappointing" D'Angelo, something more traditional, literally, another artist I managed to miss, if anything a little too "English hand on ear" type folk , but he has a fine voice:-

Nic Jones - Penguin Eggs

Next up Spotify Premium via Muso , this guy's voice has always fascinated me, quite often on folk records and has been on Transatlantic Sessions a couple of times:-

Paul Brady - Nobody Knows:The Best of Paul Brady.

In his long career, Ashkenazy has recorded so much and so often for Decca, that he invariably invited criticism for playing everything well and nothing outstanding. But especially his Bach and selections of his Rachmaninov are beyond outstanding. And among his Rachmaninov, his very best record must be this one:

I have the SACD recording, only sadly no way of listening to the hi-res layer...

Iron Butterfly ~ Metamorphosis

Two years after they released In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida they came out with Metamorphosis in 1970. You can hear the IB sound signature but it's a very different album from IAGDV. It's a good album ('70s Californian Psychedelia album) and worth a listen if you don't already know it but know or remember their style from IAGDV.

Dave

If you like this - have a listen to the Sun Bear Concertos. In my eyes better.

+1
