One of these moments one realizes how special it is to own a good hifi system.

Ps his tempo is quite a bit higher then I remembered of the other version of Kurt Sandeling.

Vänskä and the Lahti SO have the right feeling for this music. In the right place and dynamism, but they can also withdraw and let flow.

here is not conducted by a special scheme designed the music. segestam heard?

Quite interesting piece of music. Ranging between romantic, rough, complex.....needs a bit more, but will not be the last time I heard this...

Don't exactly know what you mean. I use a normal Qnap NAS and stream my music via my NDS. For ripping I use EAC and for tagging MP3 tag. So no real magic. The piece above I bought at Qobuz today.

A good prompt, joerand.  I've had this CD in my collection for ages and have yet to listen to it!

The Xmas and New Year break begins for me this evening so I thought I'd start with some relaxing Ray Lamontagne.

If you haven't already try this album of his. Personally I think it is his best.

+1

Funny how one can differ, this for me was the beginning of the end. The raw emotion going and formulaic refinement taking its place.

Hard Station is the one for me. Songs and Crazy Dreams, the best of the compilations. Mini-return to form with hubba dubba a few years ago.

Have again put this one on. Great interplay, great songs and recorded as if you are sitting in front of the trio - recommended in high res

One of my albums of the year.

Posted on: 23 December 2014 by Gale 501

Why?

Because its family time and its one of the best albums of songs and tunes ever made to be played LOUD.

You can still pick it up for 1p.
