Bruce Springsteen. Devils & Dust. DualDisc CD/DVD from 2005. Haven't played this in a long while. Like it better with each listen though.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. On HDCD from 2001. Petty's HDCDs are very well mastered and stand up well with the original vinyl for SQ. This one sounds quite nice and the music is classic Petty.

I have the Sacd of this and it is simply a stunning recording.

And when he was a little younger .................

The first Sonny Rollins album I bought and still my favourite.

The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow calls this album "arguably his finest all-around set". “Blue Seven” is a jazz classic.

Energised but disappointingly bland and monochrome playing by Lise de la Salle in her 2014 Schumann recital.

sounds like something your sniffing dog may be interested in. Me, I'm more into colours. 

Would it be possible to create a symphony out of smells, rather than sounds? Dog nose.

Disc three of this four-CD box set from Rattle and the CBSO - a vibrant and exciting reading of the 1947 version of Petrushka  coupled with the Symphony in Three Movements and the Symphonies of Wind Instruments.

A release that went by largely unnoticed when it came out - but particularly the Handel variations are brilliantly done. Pity Decca recorded Ashkenazy inside an empty pool.

I haven't played my lovely vinyl copy for a while.

The CD rip gets played quite alot though.

Giving this   outstanding SQ heavyweight vinyl another play. 

First run, looks like the orchestra is a bit in the background..., but let's first listen better before I give any opinion....

Time to explore Miles Davis' magisterial mid-60s period with this six-disc box set...

I have had the book set for a few years.

Its one of my favourite and most played Miles sets.

Disc 2 and 3 get the most play.
