Promo version on Spotify prior to release on 10th Feb 2014.

Michael Wollny wrote the title track together with Eva Svensson, Esbjörn Svensson's widow, and the whole album Eternal Beauty is an homage to Esbjörn.

Elliot Smith "An Introduction to ..........."

if you are unfamiliar with his music and want an overview, this

is good place to start.  masterful songwriter, gone too soon.

Just for a change !

CD - Epic © 1984 CBS Records : )

One of the first CDs I ever purchased [back in the early 90s]

A sublime musical sensation, and contains one of my all time favourites songs ‘Why Can’t We Live Together’ with the most perfectly timed long lead in percussionist intro.

After all these years i’m still mesmerised by these songs, and these days very much impressed by the astonishingly fine sound engineering that, other than placing me in musical heaven, places my volume knob higher than any other CD dare go, and even higher than the compression on some LPs will allow.

I guess somethings are just perfect : )

One of my regular test CDs for evaluating system changes. And I enjoy the album too, of course. I think Phil's drumming seems more prominent on this than other albums on which he performs.

This could well be the future of music (for me). An almost universal choice of music to stream at CD quality topped up with hi-res downloaded purchases of favourite music plus the occasional buying of physical CDs that are not in the Quobuz database. I really think that Naim should get on board and quickly with Quobuz and to a lesser degree Spotify and Deezer and so on. What is stopping them? I really don't want to leave the Naim fold but...
