Yes Tony, Roger Waters has a high opinion of himself and is a control freak. But that doesn't make The Final Cut bad - and it certainly doesn't make AMLOR, the first album Gilmour and Mason made without his input any good, does it?

Kev,

Never mentioned AMLOR and yes, I still think  RW is a pillock and FC sucks!

Lots of love!

Piano Concerto No.3-7. Love the No.6.

Dear Kuma,

Bach never wrote a piano concerto.

Please give the BWV of the concerto you think so grand.

 Right right.

But he'd get kick out of it if he was around when the modern piano was around!

Plus Perhia plays piano. not violin or harpsicord on the recording I was listening.

NOw Glenn rocks on Beethoven PIANO forte CONCERTO No.1 !!

Isn't it pretty?

Bach sometimes surprises me with such a modern sounding riffs and chords progression. Good interpreters like Perahia or Gould  let me see the deeper musical goldmine of Bach's tune.

Heartfelt and tender. I also like the the final movement which Perahia mingling intricately in and out with various instruments making up rich harmonic blends.

Gorgeous.
