What is the latest music you downloaded, what resolution and from where?

With more music being downloaded I thought it might be interesting to see what forum members are buying and from where.

The news that HD Tracks are soon to open an online UK store means that more choice is going to be available to us. The variety and quality of downloadable music we can choose from is expanding, MP3 to 24bit studio Masters at 192kHz and beyond.

So what are you buying and downloading?

One of the rare releases of this great record label (Soundliaison)

Nice jazz duo come together only for the occassion.

Listening in DSD64 and 96/24 to see how they compare.

Both formats are studio master as they used two separate recorders for each of the formats of this recording. So no conversion.

No need to respond - I've found the Highresaudio site, it's not available in UK! Crazy!

I downloaded the 24/96 version from Qobuz (£13.81). A regular search of the web site only offers the 16bit version, but a link in a promotional Qobuz email gave the high res version also. See http://tinyurl.com/q5qlx62 .

Hi John-H, apologies I've only just seen your reply. In fact a few days later I was able to download it from the excellent prestoclassical.co.uk site - for anyone interested in classical music, this site is well worth a visit.
