What is the latest music you downloaded, what resolution and from where?
Posted by: Stevee_S on 13 January 2014
With more music being downloaded I thought it might be interesting to see what forum members are buying and from where.
The news that HD Tracks are soon to open an online UK store means that more choice is going to be available to us. The variety and quality of downloadable music we can choose from is expanding, MP3 to 24bit studio Masters at 192kHz and beyond.
So what are you buying and downloading?

Toumani Diabaté, Ballake Sissoko - New Ancient Strings
Two of the world's best kora (a sort of cross between a lute and a harp) players improvising against each other in a way that's both melodious and sucks you into the music.

Hi Russell, that looks a really interesting set of music you have chosen, Lambs and The Eden House look particularly interesting bands to me. I notice also Edison House is another band you like over on Bandcamp so I will be giving all these a try when I can. So much music so little time! I'm sure you will enjoy "A Feast of Consequences" its a terrific album.

Hi Steve
I'm always amazed at how much great music you can find on Bandcamp. I probably spend more money there than I do anywhere else. I can recommend all three bands, especially The Eden House. "A Feast of Consequences" is brilliant. I'm glad these forums pointed me in the right direction once again.
