Does anyone here still listen to 7" 45rpm singles?

I've been looking at mine today - hundreds (if not thousands) of the things, and realised that I just don't play 'em enough. They are quite beautiful as objects, and a lot of the ones I have never appeared, as far as I know, on CD or LP.
Thinking about having a weekend where I only play 7" 45s...
Anyone here still play their 45s?
I shall have to wait until this afternoon as SWMBO has some chores for me this morning. But when she goes out at lunchtime this place will start rocking with some '60s 7" vinyl.
I'd forgotten what a pain in the neck singles are but I'm playing Jimi Hendrix All Along The Watchtower ATM and I've been transported back to my spotty youth.
Saturday night here, and the pj party is in full gear! Iv'e had my RP6 for almost a year and a half and just realized I have no 45 adapter for it. Cannot play my US singles or the German Odeons. The only ones with a small hole are the Parlophones. I'm listening to (oops, gotta flip sides) listening to my EPs from Magical Mystery Tour and they sound excellent. A bit crackly, but fun and at least (sorry, gotta flip again) at least I know my TTPSU functions at 45 rpm. Sounds to me like pitch variation is less of an issue at higher speed. Piano in Hey Jude beginning sounds nice. Well, gotta go flip a record and pop some corn
Just getting going on 45 Day. Am restricting myself only to 7" singles. Nowt else.
Will be posting batches of what I've been playing in the "What are you listening to?" thread.
Just starting here as well.Found a box of 80's singles i was given about a year ago under the stairs so will be going through them as well.
Sometimes the box of singles comes out of hibernation and we have a lucky dip...whatever comes out of the box gets played, even if it is the Wombles single I got for my 6th birthday. (can't believe I still have that )
I have a NSM Satellite 200 'jukebox' with 100 45s which I rotate periodically - so the 45s are played particularly when people come around to visit and can't resist making a selection!
Lucky boy Pete. I always fancied a Juke Box but it's always a case of where to put one. You need a certain kind of decor/room for one.
I note you're having a home den of S600s. Have you tried the Titans yet? You're still welcome to listen to the 802s.

Well, that was good fun - 40 or so singles (see the "What Are You LIstening To?" thread for details) from 1962 onwards.
They are a pain in the bum to play, for sure, and you can't really sit down and relax when playing them, but they are such lovely objects (labels, sleeves, bags etc) and really good fun. Although they wouldn't be regarded as "hi fi" by most, some of them sound really, really good.
Like so many, one of my biggest regrets now was getting rid of all my singles and EP's from the 1950's and 60's about 30 years ago... some of which are worth quite a bit nowadays. However I have managed to get many of them back by trawling s/h record stores and charity shops and we enjoy having a singles session every now and again. They mostly sound very good... as I never feel these tracks sound quite right on LP compilations or CD. I am a particular fan of B sides, as these, back in the day, were often little 3 minute gems which were totally ignored by the radio at the time, so one never got to hear them if you didn't own or know someone who had the record.
Hi I did till I put them on a hard drive it's made life a lot easy sounds as good,My CDs go back till when they first started making them, I also record 50s and 60s of world radio onto minidisc can't bet the old stuff regards
I still collect original USA and UK Northern Soul 45s and have done since the 1970's. I don't play them as much as I'd like to, the only turntable I have set up permanently is a Gyrodec - not the most convenient way to play 45 RPM singles. A platter with a felt mat is definitely an advantage.
record players will always bet hard drives ,I just like the convenience ,
