iphone 5s to uniti 1

Hi all, First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm about to own my first naim product, a uniti 1.

Is the new(ish) iphone 5s compatible with the digital ipod/front USB port of the uniti 1?

I did it yesterday with iPhone 5 and it worked.
