Spotify or

I congratulate naim for new products NAC and NAP S1 S1. When may we congratulate naim, for Spotify (or any other streaming service) suport.
I don't see why aren't supporting spottily, it's an excellent application with a large user base. Most of the content is of a higher quality then the vast majority of the tripe that makes up their i-radio offering.
I completely agree. I understand that sound quality isn't the best, but for a few euro's a month I listen to almost any song in the world and discover amazing amounts of music and that, in the end, is what it is all about. If I like an album I can purchase the CD/Record. How great would it be if the qute or other streamers supported this!
Is this not just a financial / contract issue between spotify and naim that prevents the "simple" implementation?
You are absolutely right.
Nowhere can you have so much variety, such as Spotify or Itunes, etc. That must really be integrated.
For example:
if there would be plug-in for Spotify or RemoteApp (Apple).
With this plug in you can control naim equipment. (Volume for example)
or:
Spotify integration i n-stream.
With my cds ripped to a 4tb hard drive playing through a MacBook, Audirvana+ and a Ciunas into ndac and Spotify streaming to choose new albums, I see no reason to buy a device just for streaming.

That sounds like a great setup. The only thing you are "missing" out on is naim's i-radio, although i suspect the internet radio from your laptop would give you a much better selection anyway, and not be fussy about which type of router you have!
Spotify and Airplay have been implemented in cheap consumer grade steamers for ages now, so I cant belive it will be a licencing cost issue, seeing as how naim will probably be making double the mark up on each streamer sold in comparison to "cheap" brands.
One hi-fi dealer told me that the license for "cheap" products like that will only be provided if the company can guarantee an X-amount of sales of that product. So for the big consumer companies such as denon this is not a problem. Not sure if this is true for naim and spotify, but this is what the dealer mentioned.
