My uniti lite with audiophysics speakers sounds beautiful but when I try to play music with
very low volumes (down to one) its still too loud as background level.
Modifying the channel adaption (radio vs nas vs usb etc.) doesnt help. If I set the nas to -3, then my lowest volume is +3, not one. Even shiftinge the balance to only left or right seems to keep the overall intensity the same level.
What can I do to get less sound volume?

Are you saying that if you turn the volume right down, it's still too loud? If so, it sounds as if there is something wrong with the volume control that needs fixing.

yes, it is. I usually listen between 10 and 20, but if I want
just something in the background not disturbing discussions,
its too much with level 1. Plus its sounds somehow more aggressive,
and 1 is not significally less than 2.

Hi,
I must agree with HH on this one. Speak to your dealer to get this rectified.0 should mean no sound or at the lest a faint sound when very close to the speakers.
What happens when you mute, does it kill the sound ?.

In that case you should speak to your dealer, as it's not working properly. I usually play my SuperUniti between 20 and 30, and sometimes up to 45 or so. Below 10. It's really, really, quiet. If it's very new, ask for a new one, so you don't need to be without music while it gets fixed.

One more thing - are you using funny cables? If so, that could be causing the problem, though it seems unlikely, as the Lite is fairly tolerant. Much more likely is that the unit is faulty.

Thanks for your replies! With zero, theres really no sound to hear. But level one is somehow disturbing.
The cables should be fine, got them from my dealer with the purchase of naim and audiophysics, forgot the name, about 8€ per m, 8m each channel. I think I have to visit my dealer again. he had no idea until now. perhaps I take the naim
to him to compare.
