As they say necessity leads to resourcefulness.
I sold my Linn Sneaky for a DAC V1. but really miss the songscast feature which I used for playing youtube music video.
there is a software called airserver and another one called reflector which turns your PC/MAC into an airplay receiver.
So then you can stream Itunes or youtube from Ipad/Iphone to your PC/MAC, which connected to your USB DAC plays the audio.
Otherwise an airport express does play Itunes audio quite nicely too.

I use Apple TV/Airplay for iTunes through its optical out and into the DAC-V1, works well. I have some purchased music, podcasts, audio books etc that are still only on the iPhone/iTunes so works for me when I need those played back. Also Spotify and Amazons free Cloud Player (I like this, better than iTunes for me as it displays proper album artwork and it syncs your device audio into its software so all my iTunes is available with it also, nice little free app and the auto rip from Amazon works well also, getting me MP3 copies of CDs purchased instantly as a download, I quite like it, and great for the car via Bluetooth) works the same, will try YouTube see if that comes through also.

I have played youtube from my ipad into airport express/DAC V1
works very well without the 2 second delay. Probably because Ipad won't play flash video
Stve Jobs was against adobe flash, and well I hope the software gets replaced with HTML 5 as a standard and gets made redundant.
