Another iMac /iTunes question.

After looking at the raid not a back up and allied threads over the months, I thought it time to do some extra backups.

Apple help is less than helpful saying you should back up and after a certain OSX Time machine is your friend, but more is required.

So, stage 1 will be onto NAS (2 disc raid), and then stage 2 a copy of NAS to a portable hard drive.

After finding out how to see my hard drive , is it just a case of D&D the files to the NAS?

Are the right files: iPhoto library for pictures and iMovie Projects and iMovies Events for movies?

Is this any way right?

OSX 10.9.1 and iTunes 11.1.4

Have you tried just abcking up to a single hard drive? You can use Time Machine to choose where to backup to. I have several partitions for different computers and different areas for manual archives and auto backups.
