Which initial power cables for CABLEPRO NANA Power Strips?

Hi,
I plan to buy Cablepro NANA power strip, but not sure which initial power cable, connected from a wall outlet to the power strip. Is the stock cable, which is already included in the power bar, enough? If not, could you recommend the right one? Furthermore, I'm using DAC-V1 & NAP 100 with Macpro, but do I really need to buy the power strip even though to power them, I can just let my wall outlet do it. The NANA power strip is stunningly working well in terms of reducing jitter and upgrading overall sound of my system?

I've typed wrong. I mean in terms of reducing humming and upgrading overall sound of my system
Hi, if you have enough plugs via wall outlets then the question becomes do you have a dedicated line? If you do, I would imagine the NANA strip is not required unless you need the extra plugs for future audio components. There are various threads on the forum regarding this - please do a search. You don't want the laptop on the dedicated line.
If you don't have a dedicated line, I still feel it's worth the relatively modest outlay for the Cablepro. The version I had came with a hard-wired cord so there was no option to change. Depending on the year of manufacture, if this cord is the non-tibia version then I'm not sure it will help or not. You would need to try and again, only use it for the Naim electronics.
There were quality concerns regarding these and you can do a search on the forum. Overall, a power bar helps to reduce the noise floor. It may reduce hum in your system but not guaranteed. It really depends on the quality of your electricity and the noise injected by household items unless you have a dedicated line; then it depends on how good it was installed and the noise on it.
Hope this helps,
Arun

Thank you for your appreciable advice. I have wireworld aurora 7 2m wires, do you think they are okay? Also, if I don't play a music, I can listen to very delicate humming when my ears are close right to the speaker. Is this problematic?.... Have a good day.
No the delicate hiss or humming you hear close to the speaker is normal. It might decrease with the Cablepro but only very slightly if at all. It's from the amp (100) and having power going to the output stages.
Sorry I have no knowledge or experience with the Wiremold wires you mention. Are they similar thickness (gauge) to your Naim wires? If so, worth a try. But I would suggest trying a tibia wire which is used in Naim gear. Considering the price of a Powerline compared to your Cablepro, I won't suggest it but it would be the ultimate power cord to use unless you want to get exotic with other brands.
