Gil Scott-Heron

Just picked up a copy of Gil Scott-Heron's I'm New Here simply out out of curiosity as I'd heard of him but never heard him - and I love it!

Can anyone here recommend any of his other stuff?

Here you go Paul the first Gil Scott album I heard back in the 80's which is from the 70's but such an iconic album.

His sound is very "cool" All his albums have good reviews.

I ended up getting Ghetto Style, another compliation as the one you suggested isn' t that easy to get hold of via Amazon. Great music. Thank you the recommendation. Fab web-site too - although it may prove costly...

I managed to find a two CD compilation, Glory, the Gil Scott-Heron Collection, that is very good.
