Naim nnp 01 and uniti in Multiroom?

Hello,
can be extended naim nnp01 (24/192)?
And nnp01 can be combined in multi-room operation with Uniti? e.g. Living room and bedroom nnp01 Uniti. As a source DLNA server or another source?
thanks
If you are using a Naim server, yes, you should be able to play independent streams to each device. The server should transcode to 44.1 kHz on-the-fly. You cannot, however, send audio from the NNP01 to the Uniti.
Do these NaimNet Room Amps (NNP01 and NNP02) play 24/192 files?
I mean have they always been able to play them or must they be upgraded to do so?
They don't natively play them–the server must transcode then files in real-time to 44.1 kHz / 16-bit WAV for playback at the room amplifier. This is consistent with the behavior of other StreamNet-enabled room amplifiers.
This rather dulls the appeal of NaimNet.
Can the room amps be upgraded to higher resolution, in the way that, say, Unitiqute was upgraded a couple of years ago?
And when you say the server must transcode to 16/44, will a Naim HDX automatically do this for the room amps in other locations while playing at the higher resolution locally?
Basically I have got an HDX which plays files of any resolution up to 24/192 and sounds great. I would love to expand this to multi-room but unless I'm missing something it seems there are compromises whichever way you go. The Naim streamers will play multi-room but only by streaming MP3 to the secondary locations. I had assumed NaimNet would allow me to stream 24/192 to all locations but apparenty 16/44 is as far as it will go.
I don't want to get too precious about higher resolutions (if I'm honest I don't hear too much difference) but, if 16/44 is as good as it gets for multi-room, it's hard to justify the huge expense of NaimNet (let alone the set-up and programming hassle) and maybe the best multi-room option is Sonos Connect plus good local amps.

The StreamNet module used in the room amps, if I recall correctly, could only support (with later firmware, intended to support video sources) a maximum of 16-bit / 48 kHz, though for all practical purposes most were typically used in 16-bit / 44.1 kHz configurations.
Yes, the HDX will continue to play natively through its local outputs (and will respect the UPnP transcode setting) while transcoding to 16-bit / 44.1 kHz for the NNP0x amps.
The programming is hardly difficult. If you are located in North America, there are quite a few commercial custom integrators (specializing in ClearOne's videoconferencing technologies) that could set up a system in no time at all.
But I would ask yourself very carefully if you need synchronized multi-room audio at all. If you do, you can always listen to full-quality audio in the master zone, using a current-generation (excluding NDS) Naim streamer, with synchronized, high-bit rate MP3 in the remote zones.
On the other hand–the one cool feature is the ability to push an (digitized analogue or native digital) audio source from any room amp to another zone at 16-bit / 44.1 kHz, which is great if you wish to play records in multiple zones!
